Healing Meditation






Overview

- This healing meditation is used to increase one's overall life energy. This meditation is a alternative way to enhance your own personal well being or it can be performed for those who are unable to meditate. This meditation involves the use of visualization to achieve a state of peace.

- Many individuals often refer to this method as the "white-light" method. This method can not only be used for yourself, but also for others. Many have used this method to positively affect whatever they hold in the image of white energy.

START HERE: Do This Body Relaxtion Technique Before any Meditation!

The Method

1. Begin by visualizing every breath in to be a breath of white light. Imagine your lungs are being filled with brightness, energizing and cleansing your body. Consider this energy be infinite and contain elements of love and healing.

2. With each exhalation, see your breath as coming out as black smoke. This is all the negativity stored in your body. See it billowing out your nose and dissipating into the air leaving permanently.

3. Continue this cleansing for a few minutes.

4. Secondly you will begin to visualize a thick warm beam travelling into your body coming from above your head, and passing through your body then looping back around and coming back up your spine. Feel the intense energy passing through your body. Feel the beam in all its joy, that delicious energy travelling up your spine slowly, saturating your body.

5. Lastly, see, feel & know the energy’s presence enveloping your body. Visualize it filling every inch of your body, leaving nothing overlooked.

Important Note

- You should try to feel a pleasant feeling emanating from the base of your spine and radiating through your whole body. This will be as a very faint or foggy feeling at first, but as this visualization technique is repeated, the sensation can become extremely intense and deeply pleasurable beyond description.

- To test the power of this meditation try to do a healing meditation visualizing a person you are not getting along with. You will find that this persons attitude will suddenly change. It is very interesting to watch. I have personally done this with coworkers, bosses, friends, and my spouse. I dont normally see miracles, but this this phenomenon is pretty cool.

Reiki (霊気 or レイキ)is a spiritual practice developed in 1922 by Mikao Usui. After three weeks of fasting and meditating on Mount Kurama, in Japan, Usui claimed to receive the ability of "healing without energy depletion". A portion of the practice, tenohira or palm healing, is used as a form of complementary and alternative medicine.
